Hong Kong Day 3!
I’m going to be very busy from tomorrow onward till Tuesday! My company is one of the exhibitor at the Expo Food Show in Hall 5 and the whole thing last from tomorrow till Tuesday. Working hours for me is 9am to 9pm :( But I’m not working over the weekends because its reserved for the baby who’s coming out tomorrow evening! I can’t wait to see him after work tomorrow!!!! I’m love sick, thinking of him every single day~
To continue my “Travelogue”..
OOTD! I posted this picture earlier on under ” Bits & Pieces of HK “
Shopping day must be as casual as possible because you will be walking the whole day and half of the time you will be changing in the fitting room LOL.
My parents went to Lamma Island so they took the camera.. They heard from their friends that the place is damn pretty which was true la! here are some pictures from their trip!
Chow Yun Fat is born on Lamma Island!
Noob picture of mum eating tau huey! Some granny was selling the Tau Huey.
LOL My parents got cheated! One uncle told them that walking from 1 ferry terminal to another across the hills will only take about an hour but my parents took 2 hrs and a half!! It was so hot and sunny. They came back looking tanner!! So funny la!
Very pretty indeed! Mum said it was a nice place to relax and perfect getaway from the busy city! (but the heat and sunlight were unbearable)
Okay back to sissy & my shopping trip! We went down to Mongkok and visited Langham Place’s H&M! It was slightly after noon and the crowd kept increasing because it was lunch time and it rained!! I bought quite a lot of things over there ^^
We headed to Argyle Centre and New Town Mall! We couldn’t tell the difference between 2 malls! New Town Mall’s clothes are slightly more expensive, its something like Far East whereas Argyle Centre offers clothes at very cheap prices similar to our Bugis Street!
We spent hours in both malls and had so many bags to carry. We were supposed to meet my parents at Mongkok MTR @ 6.30-7pm and when we were done with shopping it was already 5.30pm. Also, we were meeting sissy’s hk friend for dinner at Mongkok at around 7pm. and carrying our heavy/many shopping bags is very inconvenient, WE RUSHED BACK TO OUR HOTEL in like less than an hour!!!! WE LITERALLY CHIONGED!!!!!
Met both my parents & sissy’s HK friend! He brought us to this famous shop selling Claypot Rice!
Four Seasons Pot Rice, 四季煲仔飯. Its actually located near Temple Street at Yau Ma Tei but we walked from Mongkok instead!
I had chicken claypot rice! We ordered Kangkong with cuttlefish and the empty plate is our Or Luak/Fried Oyster Pancake!! ALL WERE DAMN GOOD. We ordered the small (HKD$20) Fried Oyster Pancake and finished it within minutes haha!! They had so many oysters and they were all big and juicy unlike those served in SG! Totally worth the money!
We couldn’t resist and ordered another plate of Fried Oyster Pancake! That’s my Chicken Claypot Rice. It was really tasty, the meat was nicely cooked and I don’t usually fancy eating chicken cooked this way but I finished all! The portion was really big.. I only ate half the rice!
Although we were super full from dinner, we had desserts as well!
Steamed Egg with Milk Custard, 鮮奶燉蛋. (White ones) The yellow ones are just Steamed Egg. Steamed Egg with Milk Custard is a popular HK dessert and can be found in many dessert stores! You can have it served cold or hot :)
We headed to the famous Ladies’ Market, 女人街. I was told by many of my friends that there is nothing much at this street and things are usually very expensive/overpriced but we just went to have a look. It was still very crowded even though it was near 10pm! Sissy’s friend told us that in HK 10pm is considered very early and buses are still operating at around 1-2am! Surprising!
As mentioned it was very crowded so this is the only photo I took and the guy had to walk into my picture… >:(
Family shot =)
Sissy’s friend came to NUS for exchange programme 2 years ago and that’s how sissy met him! He’s already working in HK now (office wear) Anyway, I keep seeing guys in their 20s in business suits in HK!! Its not a common sight in SG especially for guys in their 20s only!!!! I think guys who wear business suits are damn good looking!! ^^
And that sums up Day 3! Short entry~ I’m watching Music Matters now thanks to chan! Yoon Mirae is damn hottttttt. I’ll try to blog over the weekends
Till then! Goodnight!

Hong Kong Day 2!
HI!!
I just submitted my appeal to NUS. Hopefully I can get what I want!! ^^ Baby is coming out on Friday and I’m actually supposed to work over the weekends for the Food Show at Expo but boss let me off so i’m going to spent my Saturday and Sunday with him. CAN’T WAIT!!
I added the comment section to every post so you can now comment!! Doubt anyone will but it makes me happy to have it there~!
To continue with the previous HK post, this is HK Day 2 :)
41st floor lift lobby! Its actually very pretty and they have seats around the lobby but we didn’t get a chance to enjoy it :(
Mei Foo Station, we are heading to Central!
Central is actually a very busy place but I don’t know these pictures look so empty!
You Tiao wrapped with Chee Cheong Fan. VERY NICE (Y)(Y)
Porridge for breakfast!
This is the shop! We took super long to find it because its along some alley! The porridge was alright but the sides were pretty good!
” Hi, I am so happy we are boarding the ferry to Macau :DD “
Taking free bus to The Venetian ^^
Exterior of The Venetian. It was so hot I couldn’t wait to go indoor so no outdoor pictures~!
It was my first time there and the hotel is freaking big!!!
Mini Venice.
Lunch at the food court!
I think mummy look so good here ^^
Photo before meal (like always) No pictures of our food because we were very hungry and the food we had were quite average.
SO PRETTY THE CEILINGS!
The boat and river concept reminds me of Genting’s First World Hotel.
This is a real person and he tried to scare some passerby who thought he was as statue LOL. Anyway mum kept asking us how this guy can “stone” there for so long, what about going to toilet etc?!? LOL
First store selling Macau’s Egg Tarts!
LOVE THEIR EGG TARTS!! *HEARTSS*
Doesn’t this makes you drool??!
Casino in The Venetian. It’s very big! I played jackpot! Anyway the person didn’t bother checking my age.. maybe I look old :(
We left for Grand Lisboa (another hotel)
The hotel is opened by Stanley Ho who owns most of the casinos in Macau.
Grand Lisboa (the hotel) overlooking Casino Lisboa.
Old Portuguese buildings.
Streets leading to Ruins of St Paul’s
I think my face was really bloated that day.. okay maybe my face is fat all along.
And the tall building in the background is Grand Lisboa!
We took the free shuttle bus back to the ferry terminal from Grand Lisboa. We thought we had to get bus tickets from the casino dealers in order to board the bus but we didn’t have to BUT we did!! Turns out that if you get bus tickets from the dealers you don’t have to queue LOL. I think you are supposed to spend an amount of money at the tables before the dealers will give you the tickets but the dealer that gave us the tickets was quite noob so we got it even though we didn’t play at the casino!!
1 hr ferry back to Hong Kong and we had dinner at Central!
Decent Cha Chaan Teng that sells western food!! The food was alright la nothing to rave about but their fried wanton was really good!!
Menu!
Sissy and her curry pork chop!
My baked pork chop rice!! THE PORK CHOP DAMN BIG & THICK PLS!
Food ^^
This is the end of day 2! Obviously we went home after dinner because we were super tired from walking. Since 4 of us share a room because there’s 2 queen size bed, I always have to wait before I can bathe so I always use the free wifi at the lobby to whatsapp people! I have to stay in contact with the twitter world!!!!!
Abrupt ending, goodnight! I’m very tired!
